After installing Slackware Linux and exiting the setup program, you can issue the shutdown -r now command to reboot your new Slackware system. Don't forget to remove the diskette from the drive though. This document is intended to be a cookbook install of PHP under Slackware Linux. It assumes that you've installed Apache web server using my instructions.

- As of Fri Apr 03 2015, the stock PHP version on Slackware Linux 14.1 is at version 5.4.36. Looking at the PHP changelog, it would seem that this is not “optimal” for a production server. To upgrade PHP to version 5.4.39, I’ll use the stock Slackware build scripts.
When I look into the phpinfo page I can't find GD.. And also It looks enabled in my php.ini file but don't work. Anyone know solution?
I use Slackware 14.1 Linux.
